The Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh hosted a literary symposium that included a reading in the Diwan of “The Pains of Sin” by the poet Samar Taghbi, in which researchers and poets participated in impressionistic and analytical readings.

Poet Farhan Al-Khatib told SANA Cultural Bulletin that the book “The Circumcision of Sin” by the poet Ghalibi suggests from its title that the poet commits the sin of writing the bearer of gloss and many indications that Taghlibi poured out her abundant feelings and feelings in the face of the outdated norms, indicating that Ghalibi’s poems were occupied with Al-Farahidi’s seas with a contemporary, clear and solid image. With a clear and elegant language that does not cost her, she was able to easily and easily convey her intentions to the reader.

In turn, researcher Bakour Al-Aroub found that the poetry of the poet Samar Taghbi, the throes of sin, focused on the psychological issue and the writing space as a motive for creativity, considering that the poet’s work as a school was reflected in her texts and performance, as the educational impact of many of her texts was shown, and it is an issue that accompanies most of the writers who work in education.

And about her book “The Pangs of Sin,” Al-Taghlabi said, “It is my first experience in publishing, but it does not include my first experiences in writing. My journey with her is long, and with the accumulation of texts and the loss of some of them, I resorted to publishing to save what I write from being lost and to remain a witness to me, as the book includes 36 selected texts.”

The symposium, which was moderated by the poet Kholoud Qaddoura, included a reading in the throes of sin, and the author signed the book at the end of it after discussing with a number of writers and intellectuals in the symposium.
