An earthquake of
magnitude 7.1
shook Mexico City and surrounding regions on Tuesday night, without any victims or damage being registered so far, authorities reported.
The earthquake had its epicenter 11 km southeast of Acapulco, in southeastern Mexico, according to the National Seismological Survey, while federal authorities have so far reported no victims.
