He dialed his own phone number for hours so he wouldn't have to work.
The Swede called his service number on his mobile phone instead of taking calls from customers.
As a result, his number appeared "busy" in his employer's system, and all calls were forwarded to other employees.

Tax officer dialed his own number 32 times in three months
The 28-year-old called his phone number 32 times between March 10th and May 5th.
As a result, he was able to skip a total of 55 hours of work.
After all, that corresponds to seven working days in Sweden.
The report goes on to say, "Some of these calls lasted for several hours".
Not surprisingly, the man is now threatened with dismissal.

Since the tax officer had been working from home since January 2021, his misconduct was not immediately noticed.
