Three cyclists sustained head injuries in accidents on Tuesday in the district.
The causes of the accident were very different.
Ottobrunn / Neubiberg / Schäftlarn
- A 26-year-old caused a serious bicycle accident on Tuesday at 11 a.m. on Bamerstraße in Neubiberg.
He had parked his Hyundai on the right-hand side of the lane.
Before getting out, according to the police, he picked something from the passenger seat - and opened the driver's door without looking back.
Bicyclist slams against suddenly opened car door
The 58-year-old woman from Munich, who just cycled past the car, has no chance to evade.
She banged on the door and suffered a head laceration as she fell.
She also complained of hip pain.
An ambulance took the woman to the hospital.
66-year-old falls drunk from his bike
A 66-year-old man himself had a bicycle accident in Ottobrunn.
He fell on Cramer-Klett-Straße at around 3 p.m. and suffered a laceration on his head.
The police patrol caught the man's flag, and the alcohol test actually showed just under 1.5 per mille.
The man came to the hospital.
The police officers brought his bike home.
Cyclist starts to lurch and hits the garden fence
A 43-year-old in Schäftlarn also fell on his bike through no fault of his own. At around 5.45 p.m., according to the police, he was on the sidewalk on Münchner Straße (B11) in the direction of Munich. According to a witness, he suddenly began to lurch and hit a garden fence. He fell over the handlebars and suffered a head wound and injuries to his forearms and chest. An ambulance took the cyclist to the hospital.
