The former White House host must "comment without filter and live" on the fights scheduled for Saturday in a hotel-casino in Florida.

Former US President Donald Trump, a sports fan, will comment on a boxing evening in Florida on Saturday, which will notably see the return to the rings of former world heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield opposed to Brazilian martial arts star mixed Vitor Belfort, we learned on Wednesday from the broadcaster of the fight, the on-demand video company FITE.

The former White House host must

"comment without a live filter" on

the four fights scheduled at the Hard Rock hotel-casino in Hollywood, north of Miami.

The fights, broadcast in pay-per-view, will also be available on Triller, a video-sharing site, as well as on the HBO channel.

"I like great fighters"

"I love great fighters and great fights, I look forward to seeing both on Saturday night and sharing my thoughts at ringside,"

Trump said, quoted in a statement.

According to the ESPN sports channel, he will be accompanied by his eldest son Donald Jr. to comment on this evening.

Highlight of the evening, Evander Holyfield, former undisputed world heavyweight champion in 1990, came out of retirement at almost 59 years old to face Belfort, 44 years old and former heavyweight world champion of the UFC mixed martial arts championship.

The fight should take place in eight rounds of two minutes.

Holyfield, who hasn't played a boxing match for over ten years, replaced another boxing legend, Mexican-American Oscar de la Hoya who forfeited and was hospitalized after contracting Covid-19 .

Two other former great MMA champions, Anderson Silva and Tito Ortiz, are also due to face each other on Saturday.

The 75-year-old former real estate mogul hosted several boxing matches at his Atlantic City casinos in the 1980s and 1990s. In 2018, he used his presidential power to posthumously rehabilitate Jack Johnson, the first black crowned world heavyweight boxing champion in 1908, before being sentenced to prison for racist reasons.
