Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
Dozens of Palestinians were injured this evening as the Israeli occupation forces attacked participants in marches in support of prisoners in separate areas in the West Bank.
Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces attacked, with bullets and poison gas bombs, the Palestinians participating in the marches that were launched in the cities of Nablus, Ramallah, Al-Bireh, Tulkarm, Bethlehem, Hebron, Qalqilya, Bab Al-Amud, Silwan and Al-Isawiya areas in occupied Jerusalem, in support of prisoners in Israeli detention, which led to the injury of more than 100 Palestinians. Among them are three journalists.
The participants in the rallies raised Palestinian flags, pictures of prisoners and banners denouncing the violations of the occupation against them and calling on the international community to intervene urgently to pressure the occupation and release all prisoners.
Yesterday, six Palestinian prisoners managed to break their chains and record a new victory for the resistance against the Israeli occupation through a self-dug tunnel in Gilboa prison near the city of Bisan in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948.
