Hundreds of Palestinians are participating tonight (Wednesday) in riots throughout Judea and Samaria and East Jerusalem, and are confronting IDF forces engaged in the hunt for one of the six terrorists who escaped from Gilboa Prison. Qalqilya, Jenin and Issawiya.

The IDF Spokesman also announced tonight that the general closure on Judea and Samaria will be extended until Saturday at midnight. The decision comes in accordance with a security assessment that was carried out following the hunt for the six terrorists - Mahmoud and Muhammad Arida, Yaakov Kadri, Aham Kamami and Monadel Infiat from the Islamic Jihad, and Zakaria Zabidi from Fatah.

The IDF Spokesman updated that the transit of goods in the Gaza Strip and the Judea and Samaria area will open as planned tonight, and will allow the passage of workers working in the Judea and Samaria area as well as "in humanitarian, medical and exceptional cases only and subject to the approval of the Government Coordinator."

In order to expand the search for escaped prisoners, the IDF will increase forces that have joined the police and GSS forces engaged in the craft.

Combat battalions, gathering forces, contracts and aircraft were added to the operation.
