The internal party elections next Sunday seem shrouded in a paradox.
They appear as the most competitive since Néstor and Cristina Kirchner devised the system, after the defeat in the legislative elections of 2009. This quality, however, does not quite attract a society that remains distant, trapped by the multiple and tragic consequences of the pandemic that landed in Argentina in March 2020.
That competitiveness is registered in a statistical data.
The Kirchnerist ruling party will confront lists of different candidates in 6 of the 24 districts.
Two of them of great political weight: Santa Fe and Tucumán.
