Today, a number of Lebanese regions witnessed the outbreak of a number of fires in forests and agricultural lands.
In the forests of the town of Andakt Akkar in northern Lebanon, a fire broke out in the pine forests and agricultural lands on the western side of Wadi Oudin.
The National News Agency stated that the Civil Defense worked to control the fires that are expanding due to the hot and dry weather and the winds that hit the valley.
The people appealed to the Lebanese army to send a military helicopter to help put out the expanding fire very quickly, and they also called on all civil defense centers to send additional reinforcements from fire engines.
In northeastern Lebanon, a large fire broke out in the mountain between the towns of Kousba and Rushdbin, where civil defense personnel are working to control it so that it does not spread to neighboring houses.
