According to updated morbidity data presented today (Wednesday) by Prof. Eran Segal of the Weizmann Institute, the infection rate in Corona has dropped below 1 and stands at 0.95.
The last time the R was below 1 was on June 2, so it was set at 0.89.
Prof. Segal noted in a tweet that "the decrease is not due to fewer tests. The number of tests in the last two days is similar to that of a week ago. There is a decrease in both the rate of positive tests and the number of new difficult patients."
As is well known, the coefficient of infection, which indicates how many people on average infect each person, is calculated 14 days back.
The figure presented by Prof. Segal means that the morbidity is "shrinking", and the number of active patients is declining.

MDA reported that in the rapid test complexes that are the responsibility of the organization, active traffic can be seen, but no unusual loads.
