Hacker Offers 7 Million Israeli Documents for One Bitcoin | Israel today

A hacker, apparently from Malaysia, who uses the name sangkancil claims that he managed to steal about 7 million documents from Israelis, through a website that provides services to local authorities.

Around 19:00 (Tuesday), he published hundreds more photos of identity cards, and wrote: "Did you think you were safe? Be prepared for the shock of the information I will publish."

He then wrote that it is possible to receive 7 million documents from Israelis, "on sale for a limited time," for one bitcoin (about $ 46,000 according to the latest exchange rate).

The hacker opened a page in the telegram called SANGKANCIL_ISRAEL_CITY4U in which he wrote: "Hello friends, the servers of local authorities in Israel have been hacked. Properties and identities of more than 90% of the Israeli population are up for sale. This is my surprise for the Jewish New Year - enjoy."

The hacker posted on the page many photos of identity cards, vehicle licenses, various documents related to property taxes and more.

He said that after completing 2,000 followers on his telegram page, he would publish more information.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the page had reached close to 5,000 followers.

According to the hacker, he managed to infiltrate the servers of the CITY4U website, which provides computer services to local authorities in Israel for the purpose of paying property taxes, water, fines and various payments to local authorities.
