Islamic Jihad prisoners set fire to cells in Ketziot Prison today (Saturday).
The prisoners are rioting following the decision to scatter them between prisons and various wards after the escape of the six terrorists from Gilboa Prison.
As stated, all the security prisoners at Gilboa were evacuated from the detention facility after the incident, dispersed among various inmates, and today the threshold of tension has risen and they have begun riots.
Meanwhile, the hunt for the six terrorists who escaped from Gilboa Prison continued, and as part of the efforts, the IDF concentrated its forces participating in the search, which now includes two battalions and six companies, two collection teams and several special teams.
According to Palestinian reports, security forces arrested Manadel Anfiat's father and three other members of the Arda family in the Palestinian village of Araba, near Jenin. The two Arda brothers are among the six fugitives, and according to reports, one of the brothers was the one who commanded the escape operation.
