Children already represent 26.8% of the daily cases of covid-19 that are registered in the United States.

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the week of August 26 to September 2, 251,781 infections were reported in children, a figure that constitutes a little more than a quarter of the total positive cases that were registered in that same week.
