Six Palestinian prisoners continue their hunger strike to protest against the continuing Israeli occupation crimes against the prisoners.
Wafa news agency quoted the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club as saying in a statement today that the striking prisoners are Kayed Phosphos for 56 days, Miqdad al-Qawasmi for 49 days, Alaa al-Araj for 31 days, Hisham Abu Hawash for 23 days, Rayek Bisharat for 18 days, and Shadi Abu Aker for 15 days.
The Prisoner's Club warned of the deteriorating health situation of sick prisoners and hunger strikers who live in very difficult conditions, calling on the international community to pressure the Israeli occupation to release them and all prisoners.
More than 5,300 Palestinian prisoners inside Israeli jails face harsh detention conditions, including 550 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
