The branch of the Syrian Trading Corporation in Daraa provided a wide variety of school supplies at competitive prices.
On a tour of the economic bulletin reporter in the Sondos hall in the center of Daraa city, a number of shoppers confirmed that the prices offered within the hall are lower than market prices, especially bags and school uniforms, by a large percentage exceeding 40 percent for clothes, and at varying rates less for bags.
Salwa Al-Hamad, an employee, indicated that the installment service offered by the Syrian Trade Corporation, at an amount of 200,000 Syrian pounds without interest, greatly eased the heads of families, especially families with more than three students in schools.
Salim al-Homsi, a worker, called for increasing the quantities offered and providing a variety of notebooks of different sizes, stressing that the quality of materials and the reduced prices encouraged low-income people and workers to go to the Syrian Trade Hall and buy school supplies from them.
For his part, the director of the branch of the Syrian Trade Corporation, Muhammad Hassan Al-Maslamani, stated in a statement that the branch provided various quantities of stationery, school bags and school uniforms at prices lower than the market at an acceptable rate, stressing that the declared prices and the high quality of all materials and school supplies produced in the Syrian trade laboratories led to an increase in demand and achieving High sales rates.
The director of Sondos Hall, Engineer Ziad Al-Awad, said in a similar statement that the institution used to launch stationery exhibitions at the beginning of the school year with the aim of positive intervention in the markets and securing the families’ requirements at prices close to the cost price, in addition to high quality and taking into account the tastes of consumers.
