For the fifth day in a row, the activities of the national campaign to vaccinate against Corona continue in As-Suwayda Governorate, amid a noticeable and increasing demand from citizens to receive the vaccine in the approved centers in the governorate.
SANA monitored the process of providing the vaccine at the approved center for the construction of the tuberculosis center at the Martyr Zaid Al-Shatiari Hospital in the city of As-Suwayda.
Jawad Abu Ras indicated that he came to the center to take the vaccine to protect himself and his surroundings from the spread of Corona infection, noting the facilities provided to the auditors at the center and calling on everyone to take the vaccine to achieve the greatest protection for society.
Dr. Ghassan Salman Al-Safadi, who received the vaccine, pointed out the importance of encouraging citizens, especially the elderly and those with chronic diseases, to take the vaccine because the campaign is a good opportunity to obtain the vaccines secured by the Ministry of Health for citizens.
Engineer Lina Adwan stressed the importance of medical prevention, encouraging others to receive the vaccine and noting the efforts of the medical team in the centers to provide the best service to the patients, while Amjad Jihad Abu Hamdan referred to the efforts of the state and the Ministry of Health to secure the vaccine for free for citizens, considering that it is the duty of every person to take the initiative to take the vaccine to protect himself, his family and his community.
The vaccine official at the Suwayda Health Directorate, Osama Mustafa, indicated that the vaccination centers have witnessed a remarkable turnout for citizens since the start of the vaccination campaign, which reflects the state of awareness among citizens about the importance of the vaccine, stressing the availability of the vaccine and that the cadre provided by it is qualified and trained.
Mustafa called on all citizens over 18 years old, each in his area, to review the centers for providing the vaccine to receive it, which is the tuberculosis center in the Martyr Zaid Al-Shati Hospital, the hospitals in the cities of Salkhad and Shahba, and the health center in the town of Al-Qurayya, after registering on the vaccine platform without waiting for the role message, where the recipient’s data is entered in the center to be added On the platform in order to benefit the largest number of citizens.

The Ministry of Health launched the national campaign for vaccination against Corona last Sunday, and it will continue until the 16th of this month, and it targets all citizens over the age of 18 in all governorates, except for pregnant and lactating women, those with severe illness or those who have previous vaccination cases, and it is done by registering on the special platform to receive vaccination and then go To the specified centers without waiting for the appointment letter, in addition to the registered persons who did not receive the letter.
