Ciyou Yehan Millennium Primary School actively promotes innovation and technology education and is committed to encouraging students to explore 5G technology. "SmarTone 5G Go Mobile Classroom"
On the day of the experience day, the telecommunications company SmarTone University sent mobile classrooms modified by trucks, more than a dozen professional engineers and staff to the school to prepare a series of innovation and technology learning activities for students, including: SmarTone engineers 5G lectures, STEM Car assembly activities, VR treasure hunting workshops and 5G remote driving experience.
The students first listened to the SmarTone engineer to explain the development of 5G communication technology in Hong Kong, so that students can understand the characteristics of 5G "ultra high speed, low latency and ubiquitous connection".
Then, the students followed the Formula Square engineering instructor to learn the mechanical principles and accessories of the STEM Car, and assembled the accessories into a STEM Car with personal characteristics.
Then, the students went to the VR experience area, wearing VR headsets and hand-held switches, walked into the virtual "5G LAB@Sky100", followed other students’ prompts to find various facilities and answer questions, and used computers as facilities Add tags to give students an initial understanding of the various facilities of "5G LAB @Sky100".
Finally, the students walked into SmarTone's mobile truck and remotely controlled the remote control car of the Cyberport on campus in real time to experience the fun of driving in a virtual reality experience and the power of 5G "low latency" speed!

After completing the "SmarTone 5G Go Mobile Classroom" learning activity, another climax of the experience day was that students went to the "5G LAB" located on the 100th floor of the International Trade Plaza (ICC), the highest in Hong Kong.
After arriving at the ICC, the teacher first led the students to take the fastest double-decker lift in Hong Kong. It only takes 60 seconds to reach the 100th floor. Not only can you get a 360-degree panoramic view of Hong Kong and the landscape of Victoria Harbour, you can also go to the various exhibitions of 5G LAB. The various exhibition areas in the "5G LAB" are set up to be rich and diversified, so that students of our school have a strong interest in innovation and technology knowledge.
