Kochel - The police were amazed at the check: a driver in Kochel had more than 2.5 per thousand.
The man has long lost his driver's license.
During a general traffic control on Wednesday (September 8th) around 10:15 p.m., a VW was checked on Bahnhofstrasse in Kochel. The officers had a good nose: Since the smell of alcohol was detected in the car and the 43-year-old driver admitted, according to the police, that he had drunk two beers, the cook was allowed to take a voluntary alcohol test. The test showed a value of over 2.5 per mil, according to the Tölzer inspection. As a result, a blood sample was arranged for the driver in the Penzberg hospital and his driver's license was immediately secured. "Because of being drunk in traffic, a long driving license and a hefty fine awaits him," said the police.
