Complaints and a list of signatures from residents did not help: The local council insists on the controversial Tempo 30 zone in the south of Allershausen.

Complaints and a list of signatures from residents did not help: The local council insists on the controversial Tempo 30 zone in the south of Allershausen.

Allershausen

- In recent years, the Allershausen town council has given intensive thought to how the conditions and, above all, the cars parked on the streets can be regulated. A zone 30 was designated around Jobsterstrasse and Eggenberger Feld after the Reckmühle district - with the new feature that parking is only allowed within marked areas. The residents of the Weiherwiesen construction area protested with a list of signatures, but the community remains steadfast.

129 citizens have signed and complained that there were too few parking spaces in the residential streets and that this caused problems every day. Now the list reached the local council and was discussed intensively. The Third Mayor, Sepp Lerchl, was once again particularly active, having sought talks with the residents and at the meeting pleaded for a compromise to be sought in the form of a discussion event in the multi-purpose hall.

"If we take back the changes now, we will no longer be happy for our lives," warned Mayor Martin Vaas.

Then the residents of other streets and districts would come with similar advances.

The local council must be aware that you can never please everyone with the parking regulations on the streets.

Vaas made a clear plea for maintaining the course, with clear guidelines for regulating traffic.

"There will always be dissatisfied citizens"

After receiving the signature list, the traffic committee looked at the streets of the somewhat hidden residential area in the south of Allershausen - and the second mayor Manuel Mück also had ideas for a solution. After the corona situation has eased, a traffic show can now be held again and an attempt to identify more parking spaces here. Another possibility would be the municipal creation of a parking lot on a current green area, "but that would also have a knock-on effect". Mück warned that a parking lot would then have to be built in the Rückmühle district as part of the equal treatment.

Peter Colombo spoke out clearly against the parish role backwards: “We should continue on this path, because that is the right one. There will always be dissatisfied citizens. ”Anna Gründel pointed out that some homeowners should simply clean up the garage and make room for their own car in it. "I also have three cars and a trailer that I somehow have to accommodate on my property," said Andreas Glück. Josef Kortus made the suggestion to go through the residential areas when monitoring stationary traffic, especially in the evenings and on weekends.

In the end, after lively discussions, everyone agreed.

It was unanimously decided that the arrangement of the 30 zone with parking only in marked places would not be withdrawn.

The community will now try to create one or the other parking space more in the Weiherwiesen streets.

To this end, the municipality is now looking to talk to the authorities involved in transport issues, such as the district office or the police.
