The fourth wave is rolling: within a week, the 7-day incidence in the Erding district has risen from just under 70 to over 130.

According to official information from the RKI, it was 131.8 on Thursday.

In addition, the district office reported 38 newly infected people yesterday.

They are between 8 and 68 years old.

For comparison: last Thursday, September 2, there were 25 cases.

The number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic has risen to 7655, and that of those who have recovered by 16 to 7261. This means that 276 citizens in the district are currently infected.

There are 479 people in quarantine.

This also includes asylum accommodation in the Dorfen city area, where a Covid-19 case has occurred.

Serial tests have already been carried out.


According to the Bavarian State Office for Health, there were 308 Covid 19 sufferers in the normal ward and 207 in the intensive care ward in Bavaria in the past seven days as of Wednesday.

Eight Covid patients are currently being treated at the Erding Clinic, three of them in the intensive care unit, one of which is ventilated.


The vaccination rate has slowed down noticeably.

So far, 158,933 vaccinations have been administered in the district, reports district office spokeswoman Claudia Fiebrandt-Kirmeyer.

82,400 people are already fully vaccinated, which corresponds to around 59.7 percent of the population.

82,764 vaccinations were coordinated by the BRK vaccination center, 76,169 were administered by the resident doctors.

The new cases come from Erding (12), Wartenberg (6), Bockhorn (4), Dorfen (4), Walpertskirchen (3), Berglern, Eitting, Inning am Holz, Isen, Oberding, Ottenhofen, St. Wolfgang, Taufkirchen and Wörth (1 each).
