Israeli judo continues to reap prestigious degrees.
Tonight (Thursday), the Israeli team won a gold and a bronze medal at the European Junior Championships in Luxembourg.
Kerem Primo was crowned European Champion in the weight category up to 57 kg and Matan Kokoliev (60 kg) won the bronze medal.

The coach of the women's team, Shani Hershko, said: "A quality and significant achievement for Kerem Primo and the women's judo team.
Kerem is only 16 years old and at such a young age it is history - it wins an amazing and rare achievement - gold at the European Under-18 Championships and the European Under-21 Championships. It is no secret that our goals are to win the adult competitions opal".

Hershko added: "Kerem is a rare athlete whose future is still ahead, there is still room for improvement along the way and I am sure Kerem will be committed to the task. 2021 so far is an amazing year for the women's team, this year we won medals at the Olympics In Athletes, Teams and the Judo Association.
