Is Hapoel Tel Aviv on the way to a particularly impressive move?

The Reds are in talks with center Jason Thompson, "Israel Today" first learned.

Thompson (35, 2.11m) has a rich resume: he played 598 games in the NBA between 2008-2016 in the Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors uniforms.

His averages in the best league in the world stand at 8.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

Also, Thompson holds a European experience after reaching the Euroleague final with Fenerbahce in the 2017/18 season averaging 5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.

In recent years he has played in Zaragoza and the Chinese League.

If he arrives, Thompson will complete the team's squad in red and join foreigners JP Tokoto and James Young who continue from last season and Jacoben Brown who signed earlier this summer.
