Homs firefighting teams are working to put out a fire that broke out in forest trees and dry herbs in the Wadi Al-Arayesh site near the village of Hawik in the Al-Qusayr area in the Homs countryside.
Brigadier General Ghiath Akil, director of civil defense in Homs, told SANA reporter that the branch operations room received a report about a fire in forest trees in the locations of Wadi Al-Arayesh and Wadi Hana near the village of Hawik. Its extension towards the villages of Blouza and Hawik.
Aqel indicated that the operations room was informed of another fire that broke out in the vicinity of Awtan village in the northwestern countryside of Homs, and immediately firefighting vehicles were directed to the place to deal with it.
