As the police headquarters in Middle Franconia * announced, a man wiped the side mirrors and tore off windshield wipers in around 30 cars between 2.15 p.m. and 2.45 p.m.
It is only thanks to one witness that the perpetrator was arrested.
The witness had seen the man walking from the station parking lot in the direction of the NKD and damaging the cars.
While he was chasing the perpetrator, he called the police.
Finally, officials were able to arrest the 64-year-old, who was in a state of mental emergency.
He was then admitted to a specialist clinic.
The police asks any other injured party to report to the Zirndorf police station on 09 11 96 92 70.
