If she caught on the screen of her baby son's monitor two "rotating luminous objects", and now believes that they may be the ghosts of grandparents who jumped to visit their grandson.
Cheryl Scott and her husband Robert Thorat mounted a camera over the crib to watch over him at night.
One night they noticed something strange when they re-watched the documentation from last night.
The incident, which occurred around midnight on August 28, left the couple in shock.
The video released in the Daily Record shows two "glowing balls" moving over little Scott in a "wave motion for peace."
Seconds later the camera rotates in front of a mirror and displays a light on in the background.

Cheryl said her family moved into their current home with the older sisters of their infant son Scott - 18-year-old Elisha and 13-year-old Imogen - in December 2019 before their son was born last April.
The house was owned by Margaret William Scott, Cheryl's grandparents, who both died several years ago.
Because she believes in ghosts and the afterlife, she was convinced that these are the spirits of grandparents who come to visit the baby.

"We noticed these two floating objects that had never been there before," Cheryl told the Daily Record, "and then suddenly the camera turned right. It never happens, it's always in front of Scott. It turned around and showed a light we didn't turn on."
She added: "It's from what looks like a hand waving between the dresser and the crib. I definitely think a ghost visited us that night. Robert doesn't believe in ghosts but now he's not so sure anymore."
Although she was not intimidated by the unexplained phenomenon, Cheryl said she would try to pay attention from now on to any suspicious supernatural activity.
She added: "We never thought Grandpa and Grandma's house was haunted but maybe he is? Maybe it's not them but someone else? Who knows if he or they will come back again. I'm not scared, but it's just very strange."
