With the participation of Syria, the competition for future programmers for secondary school students in Arab countries was launched today, which is held by the Applied Science Private University in Jordan, with the participation of eight Arab countries.
The Excellence and Creativity Authority stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in Informatics is participating in the competition with three teams, each consisting of three members working within a team to solve a number of problems in programming and algorithms of varying difficulty that reach the level of the issues raised in the World Olympiad in Informatics. Solve problems on one computer in one 4-hour round.
This is Syria's first official participation in this competition, according to the Commission's statement, as the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in Informatics is participating this year at the headquarters of the University of Jordan, organizing the competition.
