The purpose of his candidacy in the constituency of Munich-East is only secondary to actually moving to Berlin in the fall.
"At the moment I don't feel the need to do this, I have to get my own life and my job in order first," says the student of politics and technology, who works as a student trainee at a well-known Munich technology company.
For a mandate in the German Bundestag you also need life experience.

Zieglmaier has only been a party member since 2019.
He had looked at other parties beforehand and then decided: "Instead of complaining, I prefer to work on making things better." On the left, he is fascinated by the determination and the substantive debates.
Last year, the 26-year-old moved into the Berg am Laim district committee as a lone fighter.
Since then he has been amazed at "this level of powerlessness" in local politics.
With the candidacy for the Bundestag, Zieglmaier wants to "make his party visible and strengthen it as an organization".
