The dollar reaches the elections

"high up"

and the Central Bank

must sell dollars to tie up the

exchange

market

.

This Thursday, the ticket reached the annual record:

188 pesos

.

The BCRA sold another US $ 90 million.

The "green taxi" accelerates: in just seven days in September, the monetary authority

lost a whopping US $ 560 million

.

The data heated the fights: in the economic team

they blame each other.

Miguel Pesce accuses Martín Guzmán for not raising interest rates.

The minister counterattacks: he accuses Pesce of his inadequate management of the BCRA.

Guzmán lashes out since he knows that Cristina questions the BCRA driver.

Both defend themselves with “nails and teeth”: they

say that the dollar moves in time with the stumbling blocks of the Casa Rosada

.

They also accuse the wave of versions, which provoke

the furious fights between Alberto and Cristina

.

Alberto receives criticism of his management and also personal.

A complaint from the vice came to his own ear: that he was going to explode when he was fat and

that his dark circles were the product of inappropriate nighttime distractions and not just from work

.

Alberto answered Cristina in Mar del Plata: he said that he works all day and night and has extra kilos due to the anxiety of his management. He still

went on a diet

to please his boss. Both use political acts to trip each other. A rare tenement to ventilate privacy. Fights encourage versions. For weeks - just speculation - there has been talk

of Guzmán's replacement

. They affirm that there are up to three candidates:

Augusto Costa, Cecilia Todesca and Martín Redrado

. Cristina has targeted Pesce. It is the Instituto Patria that disseminates the information.

The intern of the Frente de Todos opened furrows in the Cabinet. Intrigues, insecurity, fears circulate among the ministers. Anyway, for now there would be no changes. Only in November, unless a "black swan" occurs: a strong defeat on Sunday. Until this Thursday, the Wall Street businessmen did not have that scenario: they believe that on Sunday there will be an electoral "tie". In the evening, the President received a final poll: the ruling party

wins the Province by 6 points and loses in CABA, Córdoba, Mendoza and Santa Fe.

Mauricio Macri is in full session.

Sunday also has its own challenges.

They could lose their candidates in Córdoba and complicate their dream: they

want to run for president again.

It does not support the consolidation of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta.

Macri fights with his ghosts and wants to achieve an active role in the Juntos bunker on Sunday.

This Thursday, the BCRA did not stop selling tickets.

Dollarization was expected before the elections.

But the high rate of daily sales surprises everyone:

the intensity of the leakage of banknotes is not sustainable until the end of the year

.

For this reason, the Casa Rosada issued an ultimatum to Guzmán and Pesce:

that daily loss

of tickets

must be sealed

.

The Alberto-Cristina duo knows that it is impossible to win an election in the middle of an earthquake with the dollar.

Guzmán seeks allies.

He asked Sergio Massa for help.

Both - Massa and Guzmán - had secret meetings with the top businessmen in Argentina.

Marcos Bulgheroni, Alfredo Coto, Marcelo Figueras, Hugo Dragonetti (h), Sebastián Eskenazi and front-line bankers.

Guzmán tried to clear up questions.

Juan Manuel Olmos was also at a dinner.

The trio was provided with positive activity data and moderate messages.

The mission obeyed one objective: to

convey that La Rosada will not make a major populist turn after the elections.

The businessmen asked about Cristina.

Guzmán assured that the vice strictly supports the closure with the IMF.

And he ventured to say that Cristina's confrontational account with Washington is only part of the electoral campaign.

The minister says that he has everything cooked with Kristalina Georgierva.

It affirms it with determination because the IMF technicians contradict it: they express that little progress was made.

Bankers also saw a sign of moderation from Kicillof.

Axel closed a deal on Buenos Aires' foreign debt, which left creditors very happy: the Manhattan sharks insist they

received a much more generous payment than the one Kicillof is promoting

.

Axel has a good reputation as a payor abroad:

first he benefited Repsol and then the Paris Club.

Now, he recognized all the fallen interest to the creditors.

Massa undertook the mission with Guzmán to deactivate an information: that after the elections he could occupy a position of super minister of Economy.

There were at least four encounters.

In some, only the head of the Renovation Front was present.

Massa repeated:

"I am comfortable in the Chamber of Deputies."

Massa completed mysteriously: “I have my ideas.

Cristina too.

But the change of ministers is exclusive to the President ”.

Massa and Guzmán tried to build bridges with businessmen.

The Casa Rosada

dynamited them

.

Alberto won the elections with the anti-crack story of the economic agreement.

The proposal is battered.

The fight with the Mesa de Enlace is ideological: it

is about the sector that generates dollars in Argentina

.

Coninagro - and even - the Rural Society want to postpone the measure of force.

Avoid being functional to the archaic stories of Cristina.

The Mesa has its own internals.

Jorge Chemes is thrilled against Mario Ravettino.

Chemes accuses the head of the Consortium of Meat Exporters of having double talk and negotiating with Matías Kulfas to depress the price of livestock and improve the profitability of large meat processing plants.

Alberto hasn't talked to the Liaison Board for a long time.

Now also broke the dialogue with the Industrial Union.

The absence of the President and his ministers in the celebration of Industry Day is also due to the official intern and Alberto's desire to indulge Cristina's old grudges. The vice got it into her head that the manufacturing plant is only controlled by Techint. It underestimates a century-old entity made up of all the manufacturing sectors and regions of Argentina. For this reason, Alberto snubbed the most politically important entity in Argentina.

It will be difficult for him to advance in price, wage and production agreements

without an adult dialogue with the UIA.

There are also strong interns at the factory headquarters. Many speculate with the absence of Miguel Acevedo and Guillermo Moretti from the factory celebration. Ignacio de Mendiguren attended. Acevedo is Roberto Urquía's brother-in-law. The former senator has an excellent relationship with Alberto and Cristina. Along these lines is Axel, who refused to attend Martín Rappallini's company, where the UIA celebrated the productive day. Rappallini is treasurer of the UIA and a critic of the head of the Industrial Union of the province. Axel does not bank his criticism.

Kicillof argued that Rappallini's company had a legal dispute.

It is an old dispute with Cristóbal López, the Kirchner's protégé.

The gambling czar

received an extraordinary benefit from the AFIP

.

Mercedes Marcó del Pont, unusually,

withdrew from a trial

against López.

Multiple officials of the AFIP "line" were left hanging from the brush and Cristóbal López received a multimillion dollar gift: he

will pay in comfortable installments the money that he defrauded the treasury

to expand his businesses.
