Federal judge María Servini referred to the criticism she received from the National Electoral Chamber (CNE) and maintained her complaint about alleged interference in its powers.

Speaking to Radio Miter, Servini -with electoral jurisdiction in the City of Buenos Aires- recalled that the confrontation with the CNE

"comes from 2008, it is not from today

.

"

"Every time there is an election, the Chamber wants to handle it in the Capital and I think also in some provinces," he

shot.

In that sense, she also remarked that she has been an electoral judge since 1991, the first legislative acts that the government of Carlos Menem faced.

And he sentenced:

"I never had a problem or a complaint

.

"

"All the responsibility for what happens in a school is my responsibility

,

" he

said in reference to the STEP to be held this Sunday throughout the country.

Last Wednesday, Servini had already charged the inks against the National Electoral Chamber, this time through a harsh letter addressed to the Supreme Court of Justice in which he denounced an

alleged "constant interference" by

the court in its powers to organize the election in the Capital Federal, and asks the highest court to intervene to stop it.

The last reason for this historical friction was the publication of a sanitary protocol for the election by the Chamber, which defends itself by saying that each district can adapt it according to its needs and resources.

In response to Servini's questions, the Chamber responded with a letter addressed to the President of the Court, where he accused her of causing "confusion" in the electorate.

"Positions such as the one that this intervention provokes

produce confusion and uproar in the electorate,

in a delicate context such as the one that citizens go through and, far from promoting trust in institutions, abound in the discredit and unease of those who must fulfill their civic obligations. ", reflected the judges Alberto Dalla Vía, Santiago Corcuera and Raúl Bejas.
