What hours to mow your lawn?
During the week, it is usually possible to mow every day:
in the morning from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
in the afternoon from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
On Saturdays, it is normally possible to mow:
in the morning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
in the afternoon from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
For Sundays and holidays, it's a bit more complicated.

According to the law of December 31, 1992, and the decree of April 18, 1995, noise from mowers can be sanctioned by a fine if they disturb the peace of the neighborhood.
If there are national regulations, it is important to check with your
town hall
and
prefecture
for local regulations.
Indeed, the mayor of your municipality may have implemented a specific policy to fight against neighborhood noise.
Finally, if your house is part of a horizontal condominium, you must contact your
trustee
for the rules inherent in the neighborhood noise in your building regulations.
Note that mowing restrictions generally apply on Sundays as well as holidays.

Can we mow on Sunday?
If no specific rule is set out by your prefecture or town hall, it is possible to mow
on Sunday morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Check before you start, because some municipalities have completely banned mowing on Sundays.
In case of violation of this rule, you risk a
fine of 68 euros
