- The way is already clear from the authorities: The Bad Wiessee Heimat- und Volkstrachtenverein Bad Wiessee has the approval for the construction of its new club hut in the Abwinkler Kurpark.
Now it is a matter of securing the financing of the project.
The Trachtler have therefore started an appeal for donations.
In this way, the association wants to collect the 150,000 euros for the material costs.
The old hut has long been too small and in need of renovation
The construction of the new hut will be an "enormous feat of strength".
The club leaves no doubt about that.
But an act that is urgently needed.
The previous hut on Söllbachtalstrasse has long since become too small for the growing number of members.
In addition, expensive renovation work would soon be due.
“The roof should be straightened,” says chairman Georg Erlacher.
Also, because of the nearby road, the children could not move around safely at the previous clubhouse.
Everything should be different at the new location in the Abwinkler Kurpark.
“That's ideal, because you can take a break from time to time,” says Erlacher.
In addition, several huts are already located there, and the forest festivals of the clubs are also celebrated in the spa gardens.
So what belongs together grows together.

The new hut should also be a lot bigger than the old one.
The design for the building, which is planned entirely in wood, is already in place: the clubhouse is to be 16 by 9 meters.
In addition to the plattform rehearsals, meetings and festivities of the association, the theater rehearsals of the traditional costume performers can also take place under their own roof in the future.
“We then no longer have to go to the post office,” said the chairman happily.
The association wants to do construction work entirely on its own
The traditional costume association wants to carry out the construction work almost entirely on its own - apart from the electrics.
What is still missing is money for the material.
The Trachtler therefore ask for support from the population.
The chairman is confident that the first donations have already been received: "We are in a very positive mood."
Erlacher also has a schedule in mind.
If possible, the association would like to relocate the floor slab and the lines in the property in Abwinkl this year.
When the actual hut construction will follow also depends on whether festivities can take place again in the spa park in the coming year.
“We don't want a major construction site during the season,” Erlacher explains.
So the new club hut of the Trachtler will probably be built in late summer or autumn of next year.
