FIGAROVOX / TRIBUNE - In Corbeil-Essonnes, clashes between some residents and police have been going on since September 2. Lydia Guirous calls for a reconquest of these lost territories of the Republic.

For several days, the Tarterêts district in Essonne has been on fire.

Mortar fire, ambush, riots.

The triptych of urban violence no longer moves and this shows our habituation to this separatist guerrilla.

Have we already accepted the tribalization of France?

Like the settling of scores in Marseille which no longer surprise either, even when the victims are children barely entering adolescence, the riots in Tarterêts are not surprising.

There is a form of resignation to seeing part of France secede against a background of drug trafficking or Islamism.

The two of course go hand in hand, in a disastrous project for the Republic.

This resignation says a lot about the state of the country and the little hope it has in public and political action.

The efforts are being made, and the Beauvau de la sécurité will undoubtedly provide additional resources.

But we are up against the wall, there is no more choice: the reconquest or the end of the one and indivisible Republic for the benefit of a France of tribalized territories.

In these districts, apart from redistribution, the Republic and France are not of interest.

The indifference that accompanies the resignation of part of the public also shows that many have internalized the enslavement of this part of France which lives, and sometimes survives, in grim neighborhoods. The Tarterêts district has 5,000 people, half of whom officially live below the poverty line, with many children out of school. These data explain a social context which is neither an attenuating nor an aggravating factor.

These districts left the republican field because they also rejected the Republic.

However, national solidarity and redistribution are expressed there concretely every day ... even if this is never enough.

In these districts, apart from redistribution, the Republic and France are not of interest.

There are now the “them” (the rest of France and the French who do not live in the neighborhood) and the “us” (who are the people who live in these neighborhoods).

This “them” and this “us” have also infused into the rest of French society and this is more worrying because it is the illustration of renunciation and resignation.

A renunciation to reconquer these districts, a resignation because there is no longer any hope of seeing the authority of the State re-established everywhere.

A renunciation of keeping France One and indivisible.

A resignation which marks the end of “living together” which has given way to “living against them”, even to “living in spite of them”.

Each in his place, each his territory, each his codes and his laws ... This is what these delinquents tell us and this is what, in a paradoxical harmony, many seem to accept.

The reconquest of these territories is urgent, but it will require colossal means, both human and material.

Lydia Guirous

The "Here, it is at home", which was the slogan of a part of the extreme right a few years ago, is today chanted by the scum of the suburbs to affirm that "here" they make. the law, and that "here" France does not enter. A law that differs according to the district and the tribe of thugs who hold it. It is a tribal France that is emerging, letting it prosper is an insult to our political heritage and our ideals.

The reconquest of these territories is urgent, but it will require colossal means, both human and material. Above all, it will require a resource that does not need an additional budget line: love for its country and the will to see it still exist tomorrow. Are we capable of this transcendence which is one of the key resources to instill the will and the courage, essential to activate this reconquest? You can't win a war without believing in it. This war of territories against the tribalization of France, will be won above all by refusing renunciation and resignation.
