Kaufbeuren - The funeral is an important step for grieving relatives to say goodbye to a loved one.
The city of Kaufbeuren announced that due to the new 14th Bavarian Infection Protection Measures Ordinance, the regulations on burials in cemeteries can now also be adjusted.
The following rules apply to funerals from Thursday, September 9th:
In principle, the number of people is no longer limited outdoors.
There is no obligation to wear a mask outdoors.
When entering buildings such as the funeral hall, the 3G principle applies.
This means that buildings may only be entered by people who have been vaccinated, recovered or tested.
This means that there is no longer any restriction on the number of people.
Masks are also required in buildings.
Wear a medical face mask or FFP2 mask.
The implementation of these regulations offers the possibility, especially in the very sensitive area of burials, to take further steps to safeguard the very legitimate interests of relatives in an appropriate and dignified burial.
“The dignified farewell to a loved one is an important step in overcoming grief.
These moments are irretrievable.
I am very happy that these facilities are now available, ”said Mayor Stefan Bosse.
