Sony last night (23:00, Israel time) hosted the broadcast of the Playstation Showcase event for September 2021, and during the 45-minute broadcast we were privileged to receive quite a few sensational and surprising announcements, and there is no doubt that Sony pampered fans with trailers for the heavy cannons everyone is waiting for .

So what did we have?

Knights of the Old Republic Remake

The Star Wars role-playing game that has become a cult cult since 2003 is getting a remake that will also be released for the PC, and the consoles will be temporarily exclusive to the PlayStation 5, but will also be released for the Xbox at a later stage.

The trailer does not reveal anything to us, not even a release date, but we do get a quick glimpse of Revan's character.

Project Eve

What happens when you take an anime game reminiscent of a combination of Devil May Cry, Nier Automata, and Bayonetta?

Get a game like Project Eve.

Although the game was unveiled at a Sony conference, it was originally announced in 2019 for both the PC and Xbox One - so it does not appear to be an exclusive Sony game.

Project Eve will be released during 2022.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

The spin-off game of the Borderlands series that was unveiled during the year, starring the character of the beloved Tiny Tina, finally gets a release date - March 25, 2022. The trailer reveals to us that the gameplay will remain the same as the Borderlands series, and keep the Loop of Shoot and Loot (or in pure Hebrew) "Shoot and loot") and add a number of new abilities in addition to the "Dungeons and Dragons" atmosphere as we have already received in one of the Borderlands 2 expansion packs.

Forspoken

Square Enix's new action-role-playing game will be released during the spring of 2022, and we get a trailer that reveals us action-packed gameplay and platforming, in addition to the game's plot.

Forspoken will also be released for PC.

Rainbow Six Extraction

Ubisoft's group shooting game gets a trailer, and it seems that the team tactical gameplay that characterized the latest Siege title is being replaced by games that will put more emphasis on action while players will have to fight different types of zombies and monsters.

The game will be released in January 2022 for all consoles and platforms and will include a cross-platform option that will allow all players to play together.

Alan Wake Remastered

Just this week, developer Remedy released a statement that it is working on a remake of Alan Wake, and at Sony's conference we indulged in a trailer that reveals the game's graphical improvements since it was first released in 2010. The remake will be released on October 5 this year for Xbox X \ S consoles , For the personal computer, and for the first time also Sony players will get to play this gaming classic on the PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles.

GTA V ... again?!?!

The classic Rockstar game was first released in 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 console, and a year later also for the PC and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

Now we get another trailer that reminds us that the game will also be released on the new generation of consoles.

But the question is: why?

(This is a rhetorical question, there is really no need to answer it).

Ghostwire: Tokyo

Tango Gameworks' new horror game gets a new trailer in which we are exposed to short gameplay clips in addition to the emphasis on the plot.

Ghostwire: Tokyo will arrive on PC in spring 2022 and will be temporarily exclusive to the PlayStation 5.

Guardians of the Galaxy

Eidos Montreal's new game based on Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy brand (regardless of the cinematic universe in case you were) gets a new trailer that shows us the plot more broadly, and it seems that Peter, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Gert are busy getting into trouble and getting involved with a variety of characters Doubtful and dangerous throughout the galaxy.

The game will be released on October 21 this year.

Bloodhunt

A new Battle Royale game taking place in the world of Vampire: The Masquerade.

Players will be able to choose to design a personal character with each type they choose having special abilities that come with pros and cons during battles.

A date has not yet been announced, but the game will be released by the end of 2021, also for the PC.

Deathloop

Arkane Otto's expected game comes to us, and we get a trailer that summarizes for us in general everything that has been presented to us over the past few months, in addition to additional gameplay and plot moments.

Deathloop is expected to be released next week, on September 14 for the PC, and will be exclusive for the period for the PlayStation 5 console - where it will be able to use the special capabilities of the console's new DualSense remote.

Kid A Mnesia

A short teaser trailer with horror motifs shows us a collaboration between the band Radiohead and Epic Games.

More details will be released later, and the game will be released in November this year.

Tchia

New Adventure Game Let's show that the open world game map based on the new Caledonian Islands has been widely used, with an emphasis on different mobility throughout the map - whether you explore the foot, hover, or take over various animals on a mantle to navigate the map.

The game will be released for PC on the Epic platform, and for the PlayStation 4 and 5 during 2022.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection

Sony has in recent years started releasing its games for PC gamers, and now it's the turn of the Uncharted series with the fourth game and its expansion pack - The Lost Legacy to reach the PC and PlayStation 5 consoles. , While computer gamers will get to run the game without a frame limit in addition to additional advanced settings.

Wolverine

Unexpectedly, we got a short trailer that reveals to us that the Insomniac company (which also developed Spider-Man) is also working on a solo game for the character of Wolverine from The X-Men.

The announcement trailer did not reveal anything, not even the year the game will be released, but given the work the developer has done on the character of the neighborhood web shooter - this is a happy surprise, and the hype is at its peak.

Gran Turismo 7

Sony's main competitor in the world of racing games against Forza gets a detailed and impressive trailer with breathtaking graphics and quite a few stunning views.

The trailer shows us custom cars and quite a few races that make players feel like they are on the virtual asphalt.

The game will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5 and will be released in March 2022.

Towards the end - Spider-Man 2

That's why we came: The sequel to Sony's 2018 hit finally gets a trailer, and we're exposed to Peter Parker and Miles Morales who continue their fight to defend New York City while a mysterious character (maybe Green Goblin?) Narrates in the background - and finally the character of Venom (!! !) Exposed.

Miles's character seems to take an active part in the plot, and will likely help Peter during the battles.

The game is expected to be released in 2023.

And for the Grand Finale - God of War Ragnarok

Pretty Sony, you guys are good to us.

If almost everyone was waiting for the trailer for Spider-Man 2, then KWLM was waiting for the trailer for Ragnarok's Exposure: The trailer shows us the gameplay plot that takes place several years after the previous title, and we see that quite a bit has passed on the characters, especially Arthreus (or Loki if you will) who has already grown up and become a teenager.

The trailer also shows us some of the gameplay, but unfortunately just like in the case of Wolverine - here too we did not get a release date.
