At the same time, seven of the 20 Covid patients who have been treated at the Erding Clinic since August were fully vaccinated.

- The district office reported 38 new corona infections for the Erding district on Friday. 26 of the 144 infected the previous week (August 30 to September 5) were fully vaccinated. Of all 7,693 people who tested positive in the district, 78 cases of infection with full vaccination protection have been identified so far. The seven-day incidence continues to rise. Now it is 141.1 (previous day: 131.8). 307 people are currently infected and 553 are in quarantine. These include two employees and 15 children in the Hörlkofen children's home.
Nine Covid patients are currently being treated at the Erding Clinic.
Two of them have to be ventilated in the intensive care unit.
Since the first Covid sufferer was admitted to Erding after the summer break on August 10, there have been 20 in the Erding Clinic so far. Seven of them were fully vaccinated.
However, two of these patients had come to the hospital for other diagnoses, and their infection was only determined by a corona test upon admission.
The average age of the vaccinated Covid-19 patients in the hospital is 71.3, that of the unvaccinated patients is 41.4.
According to the State Office for Public Health, there are 336 Covid-19 patients in the normal ward and 213 in the intensive care unit throughout Bavaria.
159 197 vaccinations have so far been administered in the Erding district.
82,600 people are already fully vaccinated (59.9%).
82,926 vaccinations were coordinated by the vaccination center and 76,271 were administered by general practitioners.
At the start of school, the district is briefly expanding its test capacities.
"We are very happy to comply with this request from the Ministry of Culture in order to enable all members of the school family to have a smooth start to the new school year," said District Administrator Martin Bayerstorfer.
The district's two test centers are therefore offering extended opening times until 4 p.m. on Monday, September 13th.
Students, teachers and administrative staff are invited.
“The offer is of course voluntary,” explains Bayerstorfer.
