Ben Affleck
and
Jennifer Lopez
, the most acclaimed couple of the moment, have made their relationship official by parading together tonight on the red carpet of the Lido Cinema Palace, where they were for the presentation of Affleck's latest film,
The Last Duel
(

Ridley Scott
.
It was the most anticipated image by the paparazzi of the festival.
At first Affleck got out of the car, wearing a suit and bow, and posed for a moment only to then open the door for his companion, who has appeared stunning in a long tight white dress with a dizzying neckline and topped with jewels.

Their reunion in recent months, which is now official, caused much expectation since the couple met in 2003 filming
Gigli
and they got engaged to be married, which never happened, because a year later the break was confirmed.
Since May they have begun to be seen together again, shortly after the Latin star ended his relationship with former baseball player Alex Rodríguez and this summer they spent a vacation together on the Italian island of Capri.

Sparing in words, the director of key works in the history of cinema such as
Blade Runner
,
Alien
or
Gladiator
, read a thank you in which he mentioned all the filmmakers who have served as inspiration.
In particular, he thanked Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, writers and protagonists of The Last Duel, who came to him to ask him to direct it.

"It has been a challenging film that in my opinion sheds light on an important subject, I think it is one of my best films," said Scott, 83, without blushing.
In his presentation, Barbera recalled the "epiphany" he experienced when, as a young film critic, he saw
Blade Runner
for the first time
precisely in Venice, a film that was "a revolution in modern science fiction."
The Cartier Glory is a newly created award from the Mostra conceived to distinguish "a personality who has marked contemporary cinema in a particularly original way".
