A number of US state officials and governors from the Republican Party threatened to sue US President Joe Biden, after his recent decisions about new vaccination measures against the Corona virus.
Biden had announced the need for companies with more than 100 employees to obtain Corona vaccines, or for those companies to conduct weekly tests for their employees.
The Washington Post reported that Republican governors in Texas, Missouri, Georgia and other states called new measures to tighten mandatory vaccinations for workers in private companies and federal agencies in the United States a "violation of personal liberties unconstitutional" and threatened to sue Biden for it and respond to it.
Texas Governor Greg Ott said that Biden's actions constitute an attack on private companies, noting that the state is already working to stop this power grab, while Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon said he asked his state's attorney general to prepare to take all measures to oppose the unconstitutional extension of executive power by Biden administration.
"We'll see you in court," South Dakota Republican Governor Kristi Noem Biden said, while Democratic National Committee Chairman Rona McDaniel said the committee would sue the administration to protect Americans and their freedoms.
