No more unvaccinated people: A popular holiday hotel will apply the 1G Corona rule from September.
The decision of the Zell host polarized.
Zell am See - A piece of paper is pinned to the front door of an Austrian hotel, a piece of paper that is currently causing nerves of the boss of the “Wieshof” in Zell am See: “From September 1st.
1G applies to us - access only for vaccinated people ”.
After the coronavirus numbers had also increased in Austria, Horst Wieder decided to take new measures.
“The whole vaccination campaign has stalled and at the same time the numbers have increased massively.
Since my employees are all vaccinated, I have decided to only receive vaccinated guests, ”he tells the Austrian newspaper Kronenzeitung.

But it is also the ever new, complicated regulations, complains again.
A 1G rule is much simpler: no changing corona restrictions, just a simple requirement for vacationers in their hotel: proof of vaccination.
“My employees and our guests feel so safe and comfortable,” emphasizes the hotelier.
This is legally allowed.
But the new corona rule in Wieshof polarizes.
The measure has only been running for 10 days and the hotel is already being showered with threats and insults.
“I receive threatening letters, angry calls and also e-mails where people vent their anger”.
With that, Wieder is not the only one.
In Germany, too, some hotels have opted for 1G or 2G.
There are threats here too.
