Damascus-SANA
The Arab Club in Damascus hosted a poetic and musical evening that included reciting various poems between spoken and measured, with patriotic, humane and sentimental implications and lyrical pieces.
Poet Rod Marzouk recited humane and emotional pieces of poetry, the center of which was the eastern man, while poet Jada'a Abu Fakhr's emotional, humane and sentimental poems came after the poet Qatada Al-Zubaidi received humanitarian and emotional poems.
Tarab songs were presented at the ceremony, first by singer Rose Balha, who sang songs for Fairouz, after which the artist Zainab Al-Ahmad performed a group of tarab songs.
During the evening, the international wrestling referee, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Ayoubi, was honored in recognition of his achievements and contributions in Syrian sports by the Department of Physical Preparation and Sports in the Army and Armed Forces and the German Scientific Academy for Peace.
In a statement to SANA, Al-Ayoubi considered that this honor came after a sports career during which he sought to spread peace and love that we learned from the soil of Syria and from its national symbols.
