Defeat for smiles: Palestinian networks are trying to turn the captured terrorists into victors

Pictures of the prisoners arrested tonight, six days after they escaped from Gilboa Prison, are published on the networks while undergoing significant changes.

Some prisoners, including Zakaria Zabeidi, are seen smiling, in images that distorted the morale of the Palestinian street: "What is on the face are not scars but signs of heroism."

Pictures of the security prisoners arrested tonight (Saturday), six days after they escaped from Gilboa Prison, are being published across Palestinian networks as they undergo significant changes.

Some prisoners, including Zakaria Zabeidi, are seen smiling after their arrest, in pictures that were distorted to raise morale on the Palestinian street.

However, a change is being felt in the networks.

Yesterday, some Facebook pages also stated that the imprisonment of the first two prisoners who were caught was sad news, while today they treat it differently, and find reasons why their capture is not discriminatory.

For example, some wrote that the prisoners would be released in a prisoner deal in the future, while others were enthusiastic about the Israeli army fighting individual fighters, and perhaps losing a battle but not a war.

"What on Zechariah's face is not scars but signs of heroism and pride," wrote one of the surfers.

"In your heart you, Zechariah, always remain a tremendous leader."
