Last night, the firefighting brigade in Tartous governorate put out an agricultural fire that broke out in the valley between the villages of Hamoush Sarsky, Al-Bouda and Dahbash in the Safita area.
The commander of the Tartous fire brigade, Colonel Samir Shamma, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the fire broke out on large areas of forest and agricultural lands planted with olive trees. .
Shamma pointed out that yesterday witnessed several separate fires, mostly grass fires, and the damage was limited to materials in the areas of Zueitina, Safsa, Tartous Homs highway, Qumsiyeh, Matn Al-Sahel, Al-Udeidah, Deir Al-Hajar, Ras Al-Shagri, Hamoush Sarsky, Dower Sheikh Saad, Al-Rehaniyah Junction and Ras Al-Khashufa, in addition to forest fires in the Dower Al-Malou`ah area. Hamoush Sarsky and Mashta al-Helou Kafroun Badra, in addition to the fire of a shop in the industrial zone and a car near the court.
