The US company Facebook revealed the development of its own processors to update artificial intelligence technologies.
The specialized technical website Engadget stated that Facebook will put new processors in its data centers in order to run machine learning tasks and algorithms within its social networking sites with the aim of improving the quality of videos in its live broadcast on the one hand and reducing its dependence on other companies such as “Intel” or Qualcomm, on the other hand.
Facebook is currently working to reduce other companies' so-called "carbon footprint" within its own processors.
