The producer is already the subject of an investigation for "complicity in rape of minors" and "rape of minors", following a complaint filed in January by his nephew.

A new preliminary investigation for

"rape of minors"

was opened in early August against the television producer Gérard Louvin and her husband Daniel Moyne, already targeted by an investigation since the end of January, the Paris prosecutor's office said on Saturday, confirming information from the

Parisian

.

According to the daily, the investigations were launched after a testimony accusing the couple of sex tourism in Brazil in 2004 was transmitted in the spring to the French justice.

According to the couple who denounced the facts, Julien Courbet, who had come to dine at his place the day after the events, said he was

"shocked"

by the atmosphere at this evening.

"This is completely false, Mr. Courbet has never witnessed anything,"

said the lawyer of the host, Sylvie Noachovitch, to AFP.

If that had been the case,

"he would have immediately denounced it to the Paris prosecutor"

, she assured, indicating that she would file a complaint for

"defamation"

against the couple.

Contacted by AFP, the lawyers of Gérard Louvin and Daniel Moyne also contested the facts.

Gérard Louvin's lawyer, Maître Christophe Ayela, announced that he would file a complaint on Monday for slanderous denunciation against this couple, as well as another against

Le Parisien

.

Maître Céline Bekerman, who defends Daniel Moyne, for her part described

the opening of the investigation as

"absurd"

.

"It is no longer a question of justice but of a relentlessness that no element justifies"

, she estimated.

A first accusation in January

Last January, Olivier A., the nephew of Gérard Louvin, lodged a complaint against his uncle accusing him of having

"favored"

incestuous rapes committed on him by her husband, Daniel Moyne, in the 1980s. The latter was accused of

"rape by ascendant on a minor of 15 years"

while Gérard Louvin was accused of

"complicity"

in these facts. Since these first revelations, which came in the wake of those of Camille Kouchner about the incest committed by his stepfather Olivier Duhamel on his twin brother, four new complaints for rape and sexual assault have also been added against the couple.

In February, Gérard Louvin and Daniel Moyne had returned to the charge, in turn accusing the nephew of the producer of

"blackmail"

. In their complaint, then consulted by AFP, the couple accused Olivier A. of having

"tried to obtain more than 700,000 euros",

because he

"feared to have been excluded from the succession"

of his uncle. Gérard Louvin spoke the same month to denounce

"a cabal against him"

.

“I am not a predator!

, he said.

The only complaint that targets me directly comes from my nephew, who asked me for 700,000 euros for not having seen what did not exist ”.

The producer was publicly supported in February by his friend and presenter Jean-Pierre Foucault, asserting his right to the presumption of innocence.
