Iraq: four dead in attack blamed on ISIS in northern Iraq

Four people, including members of the security forces, were killed on Saturday in an attack blamed on the Islamic State (IS) group near the city of Mosul, a former jihadist stronghold in northern Iraq, according to a local official and a safe source.

The attack hit an isolated village in the Makhmour region, south of Mosul, said the security source who reported four dead, including a village notable, a federal police officer and a Hachd al paramilitary. -Chaabi, coalition of pro-Tehran armed groups integrated into the Iraqi state.
