The new edition of Only Watch, the auction of exceptional watches for the benefit of the Monegasque Association against Muscular Dystrophy (AMM), takes place at the very beginning of November.
For the occasion, the biggest names in watchmaking are putting themselves on an equal footing and imagining a unique piece to be sold at auction.
Louis Vuitton, for its part, is offering an astonishing version of its Tambour Curve GMT Flying Tourbillon, in shades of orange, warm and invigorating.
A timepiece offered in a personalized trunk in Monogram canvas and hand painted in Only Watch colors.

This piece designed, developed and manufactured within the Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton displays a dial with graded finishes from red to yellow, with indexes set with orange baguette sapphires, individually machined to follow the curve of the dial.
Extrapolated from the Möbius ribbon, the middle part of the Tambour Curve GMT Flying Tourbillon is made of microbead Grade 5 titanium 46 mm in diameter at the base, with lugs, pushers and crown in 18K pink gold.
This unique way of stretching the usual roundness of a watch case results in a unique, stretched and elongated shape, reinforced by the convex camber of the bezel and the crystal.

On this astonishing GMT, the two pushers positioned like those of a chronograph simplify setting the GMT time by moving the dedicated indicator forward or backward, placed in the counter open at 3 o'clock.
On its very symmetrical dial, the transparent disc bearing the LV logo is used to mark the time in the second time zone, readable at 3 o'clock.
Openwork without being really skeletonized, this dial is worked in two distinct parts so as to present a strong and minimalist architecture, favorable to the hour reading.
In punctuation, Gaston Vuitton's “V” signature is found at the heart of the flying tourbillon cage at 9 o'clock.

In this piece of fine watchmaking offered for a good cause, the Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton offers its own mechanical movement with automatic winding of 5.7 mm by 35 mm in diameter, called caliber LV82. It is regulated by a flying tourbillon whose cage located at 9 o'clock bears the Vuitton “V”. Its 4 Hertz vibrating balance ensures that the timepiece operates with the greatest possible precision.
