After her multiple conquests on a hockey field, where she became the best player in the world, Luciana Aymar fulfilled her dream of being a mother on the last day of 2019, when Félix was born in Rosario.

This Friday, September 10, 2021, the family that they make up with former tennis player Fernando González was expanded with the arrival of Lupe.

Through her social networks, the former Las Leonas player said that her "little princess" was born in Chile and weighed three kilos and 300 grams.

"It was a great delivery, everything went perfectly and we are both very well. Happy and grateful to life that has surprised me with such a gift," wrote the 44-year-old Rosario.

In an extensive post in which, in addition, he shared photos of the newborn with his more than 300,000 followers, Aymar dedicated a message of love to González.

"Thank you for accompanying me as you do in this beautiful family project ... You are a great companion and father. Generous, always giving me a lot of support and love. I thank life that has crossed us on this path and has given us the possibility of being parents of Felix and Lupe, "he posted.

Unlike Félix, who was born in Argentina, Lupe was born on the other side of the Cordillera, so Lucha also remembered her family in her message.

"Thank you family and friends, to those who are close and to those who are on the other side of the Cordillera for giving me so much love. You all feel very present. Lupe is dying to meet each one of you," he reflected.

Likewise, he dedicated a special paragraph to his doctors in Chile - the obstetrician Juan Valdivia - and Argentina, where he placed special emphasis on the Colabianchi Clinic, a specialist in reproductive medicine, "for their support with so much respect and love throughout this journey."

In 2019, also on her social networks, the best hockey player in history had told that on December 25 she had to be hospitalized for a high blood pressure and on the 31st Felix was born by cesarean section.

It was in Rosario and not in Chile, where it was expected that she would reach the world if the delivery had not been advanced.

Their first child was born premature and weighed just 1 kilo and 600 grams, for which they spent some time interned in the Sanatorium of La Mujer.

Luciana Aymar left high performance in December 2014, after the Mendoza Champions Trophy and two decades as a hockey player.

He was 37 years old and the goal of starting a family.

But it was not easy for her to get pregnant.

"Having a child was something quite talked about since we met Fer," Aymar confided to Hola Magazine. "But when we decided to start looking, it cost more than we had thought. It was crazy. I have no problem saying it was me. It was difficult to get pregnant, although there are other things that I am going to keep ".

"(On the other hand), I do tell you that I did a lot of medical studies and there they told me that high-performance athletes have more wear and tear than other people and that is why it was likely that it would cost me to get pregnant," argued Aymar.

"Did you have to do a treatment to get pregnant?" They asked.

Aymar's response, at that point, was blunt: "I prefer to leave it to myself, it is very personal. I was in a fertility clinic and did a lot of studies".

During that time, and installed in Santiago de Chile since the beginning of his relationship with Feña González, Aymar did "distance therapy" with his Argentine psychologist.

"Looking for a child and not achieving it is a difficult situation not only for one but also for the couple, because it upsets you, you don't know how to handle it. At first you have the illusion and you say to yourself 'I'm not going to stress, everything will be fine. ', but. later, when the months go by, you become impatient. You start to question why it doesn't happen, why it happens to you. And that sooner or later has an impact on your health, even on an emotional level. " he commented.

Just a few years after those statements, Lucha already enjoys Félix and Lupe.
