The Freisinger Tagblatt organizes a digital training fair - in cooperation with top-class partners.

If you want, you can register now.

Freising

- In times of Corona, this digital event is intended to bring companies and future specialists together: Under the motto "Match your future", the Freisinger Tagblatt and the Erdinger Anzeiger are organizing a digital trainee in cooperation with the respective district offices and district trade associations as well as the IHK Munich / Upper Bavaria Event.

The fair, which takes both Corona and upcoming recruiting trends into account, is strongly oriented towards the needs of everyone involved.

Companies can already register now, upcoming trainees soon.

Why digital

No job boards and no internships - Corona has also completely slowed down trainee recruiting.

No job fairs have been able to take place for over a year - fatal, as the current figures from the Freising Employment Agency show: Currently there are 1206 registered vocational training positions vacant in the entire district (Freising, Erding, Dachau, Ebersberg), 374 in the Freising district alone.

A big problem, as the master craftsman Martin Reiter emphasizes: "Because all the trade fairs have failed, we can no longer get hold of young people."

Time for that to change.

With the digital apprentice fair, companies looking for skilled workers and motivated young people can come together in an era of skills shortages - regardless of how Corona develops.

How does it work?

In the first round, companies can register via an already proven recruiting platform, and later also young people who are looking for an apprenticeship position.

A profile with the most important data and information can also be easily created.

It's not just about grades and degrees, but also about talents, interests and special assets with which you can score.

As soon as all the data has been entered, you can start. Personnel representatives have the opportunity to look at the profiles of applicants, and upcoming trainees can find out more about the companies registered. For example, if a young person finds a company exciting, they can give the profile a like. If the company is also interested in the applicant, a match is created. The principle works the other way around, of course - similar to the dating app Tinder.

This has laid the first foundation.

Both sides can exchange ideas in an initial chat and, in this context, if there is radio transmission, they can also arrange a video or telephone conversation.

This in turn will take place on one of the two Matching Days, which will take place digitally on November 26th and 27th.

"Both sides already know in advance whether they are a good match," says Christian Birkholz, regional director of the Freisinger Tagblatt.

"That creates a good mood and brings more success."

What are the advantages?

The digital trade fair gives companies the opportunity to talk to trainees. Above all, however, she also helps young people. "When you stroll through job fairs, you see again and again that young people are actually interested in a stand or a job, but don't dare to go there and make contact," emphasizes Christian Birkholz. "Either because you are in a group with other young people, or because the man in the suit and tie may put you off."

There is no such fear of contact when you first contact us via the app.

Especially since young people can get their first professional rendezvous ready with a tool that they are usually particularly familiar with: their cell phone.

“And there is still something else,” says Birkholz.

"The way the profiles are designed, young people can often score differently than just good grades."

Please report!

Companies that take part in the digital trainee event and want to catch their own top trainee can book their company profile by October 1st.

Further information is available by e-mail to freising@merkurtz.media or on tel. (0 81 61) 1 86 41. You can also register in this way.

As soon as an exciting portfolio of companies has emerged in the app, the FT will invite young people to register in a second round.
