All of them have been vaccinated with two doses of the new crown vaccine, 3 people have the L452R variant virus, and one person is waiting for the result.
Among them, a 52-year-old male patient listed as an imported case returned to Hong Kong from the United States. He lived in Kangjian Building, Tsz Hong Village, Tsz Wan Shan before leaving Hong Kong on August 22. His residence building and places visited were included in the mandatory testing announcement last night .
In addition, the center has also received a number of confirmed cases after leaving Hong Kong and arriving overseas, including 16 crew members working on cargo ships who had carried out cargo loading and unloading work at Container Terminal 4 in Kwai Tsing from September 2 to 3. He was diagnosed after arriving in Osaka on March.

The 4 new imported cases today involved a crew member, a 60-year-old male patient (case number: 12145) who arrived in Hong Kong from Canada on the AC7235 on September 9. He was asymptomatic and was found to carry the L452R variant virus strain.
He has completed two doses of AstraZeneca and Modena vaccination in Canada.
The other case was a 52-year-old man living in Tsz Wan Shan (Case No. 12146). The center stated that he left Hong Kong for the United States on August 22. He tested negative in Hong Kong two days before departure. He then took flight JL735 from Japan. Arriving in Hong Kong, I received two doses of Coxing vaccine on May 31 and June 28.
The sample taken by him at the airport temporary sample collection center was positive and asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis. He was found to have a L452R mutant strain.

The confirmed patient also involved a Filipino domestic helper. A 30-year-old female patient (case number: 12147) was diagnosed at Silka Hotel Tsuen Wan, a quarantine hotel designated by the foreign domestic helper.
She arrived in Hong Kong from the Philippines on September 7 on flight CX918, and she carried the L452R variant virus.
She received two doses of Coxing vaccine in the Philippines on June 25 and July 29.
The fourth case involved a 27-year-old man (case number: 12148) who arrived in Hong Kong by EK384 from the UAE, waiting for the test results of the L452R and E484K variant strains.
Today, there are fewer than 5 confirmed cases.

The Centre for Health Protection stated that it received a confirmed case in the UK involving a 54-year-old female patient who lived at 112A Ma Yau Tong Village, Tseung Kwan O before leaving Hong Kong. She left Hong Kong on September 3 for flight AY1337 to the United Kingdom, September 2 The test result in Hong Kong on Japan was negative, but the test result in the UK on September 5 was positive.
She received two doses of Fubital vaccine in Hong Kong on July 18 and August 9.
In addition, 16 crew members working on the cargo ship Ever Calm were involved. The cargo ship arrived in Hong Kong on September 1.
