The capture of the four security prisoners out of the six who escaped from Gilboa Prison came after they had exhausted their escape plan, a senior member of the defense establishment said today (Saturday).

According to him, "until the exit from the tunnel they dug from Gilboa Prison, everything was ready, and they walked seven and a half kilometers - from there there was no more planning."

At the same time, the defense establishment fears that the two terrorists who have not yet been captured will try to carry out an attack: "They have nothing to lose," the senior official warned.

It was also reported that as part of the search efforts yesterday, files of the escaped prisoners were located in Moshav Balfouria, and change clothes and cigarettes were found inside.

In addition, police sources said that dozens of calls and reports from Israeli Arabs were received at the center, in order to help capture the terrorists.

Last night around 22:00, two of the prisoners, Yaakov Kadri and Mahmoud Ardeh, were captured in Nazareth, after the police received a report from a citizen about two suspects who asked for food from his family.

A few hours later, around 5:00 in the morning, the forces also captured the terrorists Zakaria Zabeidi and Muhammad Arida, who were found in a truck parking lot near an olive grove on Shabli-Umm al-Ghanem - the local council near Nazareth.

The four security prisoners arrested in the last day have been handed over to the GSS, and are currently under investigation. The goal now is to provide information that will help locate the two other prisoners who are still free in the field. -26.
