They could have been images from a movie or any television series with which one is distracted or stressed at its peak when the villain is about to be captured.
But no.
Reality sometimes surpasses fiction and other times it equals it or serves as a model for it.
The Buenos Aires Minister of Security, Sergio Berni, broadcast in the last hours an audiovisual superproduction to show the narco operation with which he challenged Sabina Frederic, his peer at the national level, in the midst of an increasingly strong tension.
With a voiceover, Berni gives directions during the beginning of the video while the agents prepare a truck, review maps and get ready for “Operation White Wind”, the operation carried out on September 9 at dawn.
The place chosen was not accidental:
Berni was present in Rosario
- outside his jurisdiction as minister - hours after a wave of crimes was recorded in that city of Santa Fe.
The explanation?
The band that operated there had connections with the Buenos Aires town of San Nicolás.
We carried out the anti-narco operation #VientoBlanco;
a tactical deployment with 220 troops, entering Rosario at 2 am.
We managed to arrest criminals who from this city of Santa Fe, took drugs to San Nicolás and surroundings.

It was the way in which Berni sought to differentiate himself from Frederic, who had stated that
he would not send more federal agents
to the area and that the homicide rate had grown more in the city of Buenos Aires than in Santa Fe.
“From this moment, the Red Rosario, only at my orders. Next communication, two minutes from the goal ”
, says Berni during the video broadcast this Friday.
“We carried out the anti-drug operation #VientoBlanco;
a tactical deployment with 220 troops, entering Rosario at 2 am.
We managed to arrest criminals who, from this city of Santa Fe, took drugs to San Nicolás and its surroundings ”, added the minister after publishing the images.
“Without giving rise to military actions in any of the raids, we dismantled an important organization, linked to international crime.
We do not want drugs to be brought into our province.
For that, we move forward with determination, vocation and professionalism, "he added later.

Frederic, at the center of the controversy
Frederic's comparison of the situation in Rosario with what is happening in the City of Buenos Aires aroused
criticism from sectors of the opposition
, although it also generated
reactions from the ruling party itself
.
After Frederic affirmed that he would not send federal reinforcements to the province, Governor Omar Perotti said that
"the minister does not fully understand"
the management line marked by President Alberto Fernández.
"There is a different situation here that requires presence and accompaniment. It is not the same what happens in any other national jurisdiction," said the former senator.
From the opposition, the questions were led by Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, head of the Buenos Aires government.
"There are 4 homicides for every 100,000 inhabitants in the City of Buenos Aires; 16 and a half in Rosario.
How can you compare one with the other?
It is a lack of respect for the people of Santa Fe with what they are living," he said.
Frederic held his position.
"
It seems to me that Larreta does not know how to count.
On April 9 of this year a report of criminal acts was published, including homicides, and they themselves announced that there was a 22% rise in the homicide rate in the City," he insisted .
The minister had already been at the center of criticism last week, when she relativized the problem of insecurity and affirmed that
"Switzerland is a calmer but more boring country"
than Argentina.
At that time, Berni accused her of
"being partying"
during the pandemic: "During the pandemic she was partying, instead of partying we were working; with that intellectual gaze that has nothing to do with reality, those who we live in the suburbs, we feel that it is on another frequency. "
